We are always thankful our school board members, but today we'd like to say, "Happy School Board Appreciation Month" to ours. They always put ICC staff and students first, and we thank them for their support and dedication!
The Izard County Cougars defeated the Rector Cougars, 72-47, to advance to the semifinals of the George Kell Classic at Swifton. The Cougars (11-6) were led by Jude Everett with 31 points. Gabe Spray added 15 and Keaton Melton 12. The Cougars will now play at 5:20 PM on Wednesday.
Livestream of the Kell Classic is set to begin around 3:20 today (Saturday) on youtube. Please search for the JCSD channel.
Reminder that Sr boys play at 3:20 tomorrow (Saturday) in the Kell Classic at Swifton. Monday, Sr Girls play in the Kell Classic at 6:20 at Swifton. Also on Monday, Jr Boys and Sr Boys play at home vs Lead Hill starting at 5:00.

Due to Quitman's travel and their inclement weather road conditions, tonight's basketball games at ICC have been canceled. The games, as well as the Little Dribblers performance will be rescheduled.

ICC Little Dribblers (grades K-2) will have the opportunity to perform at three upcoming games. Be sure to come cheer them on!

A poem written by ICC senior, Alexus McLaughlin, has been selected to be published in a compilation of other poems in June of this year! Mrs. Treat entered Alexus' poem, "The Way of Life" into a poetry contest that Creative Communications out of North Logan, Utah holds for students grades K-12. Congratulations, Alexus!

We will be making up the December 14 intramural night tomorrow night, January 4.
Due to the safety concerns related to the large number of people that are expected to be in the area for the total solar eclipse, school will not be in session on Monday, April 8. To replace that day, school will be in session Monday, January 15. Please save this updated school calendar.
