The sixth seeded Lady Cougars (11-5) defeated the top seeded Lady Rebels, who are the No. 3 ranked team in Class 2A. The Lady Cougars defeated the second seeded Marked Tree Lady Indians in the semifinals. The Lady Indians are the No. 3 ranked team in 1A. The Lady Cougars were led by Quinn Johnson with 20 points. Olivia Spray added 13, Makensie Yancey 12, and Tinley Bailey 9.
The Cougars won third place in the Bad Boy Mowers Ronnie Brogdon Tournament today with a 59-51 win over the Melbourne Bearkatz. The Cougars (10-6) were led by Gabe Spray with 30 points and Jude Everett with 12.
