We will have Parent Teacher Conferences and 9-week tests this week.

The Izard County School District is excited to announce it has received a $433,954 High Impact Tutoring Grant from the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.
This grant will allow the district to provide additional academic support for our students, as high impact tutoring has been shown to be one of the most effective interventions to accelerate student learning.
This grant was written primarily by Elementary Principal Eve Hatman, with assistance from Middle School Principal Sarah Burns and STEM Coordinator Courtney Selph. The many grants that the district consistently receives each year, the implementation of our STEM Program, and the rapid progress of our teachers in incorporating the Professional Learning Communities collaborative process show how dedicated our staff is to our students. No one works harder for their students than our staff, and it shows every day in the academic progress of our students.
