We look forward to having our Kindergarten-4th grade Christmas music program on Thursday @ 6:30 in the Fine Arts Building.

We slow down just a bit this week... but we've got two great opportunities to support our Cougars at home!

Semester tests are fast approaching! 7-12th grade students will have a review day on Wednesday, followed by tests in the afternoon classes on Thursday and morning clases on Friday.

Make plans to join us for both concerts this week! 5-12th grade choir students will perform on Monday, Dec 15. Then on Thursday, Dec 18, we will have the Kindergarten-4th grade concert. Both events will begin at 6:30 PM in the IC Fine Arts Building at the middle/high school campus.

Reminder that we will not have the After School Program this week!

Congrats to Maggie Blackburn, Samantha Treadway, and Riley Rucker for becoming certified in Microsoft Word!

PLAN AHEAD: There will be no After-School Program December 15-19!

At the close of the November 20 poultry judging competition in Louisville, the IC team knew they were in the Top 24. The final results are now in and these girls have finished 15th in the nation! Congratulations to Kennedy, Makaelynn, Teagan, and Delilah!

Congratulations to Payson Speake for winning 1st place in Discussion meet LDE and Whitley Smith for placing 3rd in the Job Interview LDE at the Sub-Area Contest today at Ozarka College in Melbourne. These FFA members will both advance to the District Contest in the spring. We are also proud of Bobby Tate, Addie Tanner, Maddie Tanner, Corbin Smith, Akynna Nielsen and Gage Nielsen who also competed in the Sub-Area LDE contests today. Great job everyone!

Students had a great time exploring the possibilities available at UACCB and Lyon College yesterday!

The Fall 2025 Coaches' Poll results are in, and the Izard County STEM School Senior High Quiz Bowl team has been ranked #4 to begin the season!
The poll was administered by Arkansas Friends of Quiz Bowl, a nonprofit organization composed of alumni, coaches (current and retired) and others who support quiz bowl in Arkansas by, among other things, funding annual scholarships for quiz bowl players through an annual invitational tournament.
We are very proud that so many other organizations in the state recognize the hard work that Coach Charles Treat and his team do to prepare each year. We look forward to seeing what all this group accomplishes in the 25-26 season!
The Quiz Bowl team includes: Keylon Gross, Jacob Kodrich, Evan Cole, Craven Brewer, Harrison Oss (Top - L to R) ; Tyler Anderson, Elijah Walters, Brayden Treat, Addysyn Kinion, Alex Millington (Bottom - L to R); Makaelynn Wood, Delilah Montalbo, Matthew Thielemier (not pictured)

Happy Education Support Professionals Day! Today is dedicated to recognizing the vital contributions of school support staff, including aides, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and custodial staff. Thank you for all that you do for us!

Friday night at the Cougar Den will be one of those moments we’ll remember for a long time. ❤️
After the senior girls game, we will proudly honor our 2025 State Champion Lady Cougars with a ring ceremony—a celebration of every long practice, every late night, every setback they pushed through, and every moment they chose heart over comfort.
This team showed us what grit, sisterhood, and Cougar Pride truly look like. Now it’s our turn to show THEM what their community feels for them.
Let’s fill the stands, lift them up, and celebrate the incredible journey that brought them to this unforgettable accomplishment.
Cougar Nation, this is your moment too. 🖤🤍🏀. We look forward to seeing you there!
