The Fall 2025 Coaches' Poll results are in, and the Izard County STEM School Senior High Quiz Bowl team has been ranked #4 to begin the season!
The poll was administered by Arkansas Friends of Quiz Bowl, a nonprofit organization composed of alumni, coaches (current and retired) and others who support quiz bowl in Arkansas by, among other things, funding annual scholarships for quiz bowl players through an annual invitational tournament.
We are very proud that so many other organizations in the state recognize the hard work that Coach Charles Treat and his team do to prepare each year. We look forward to seeing what all this group accomplishes in the 25-26 season!

Happy Education Support Professionals Day! Today is dedicated to recognizing the vital contributions of school support staff, including aides, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and custodial staff. Thank you for all that you do for us!

Friday night at the Cougar Den will be one of those moments we’ll remember for a long time. ❤️
After the senior girls game, we will proudly honor our 2025 State Champion Lady Cougars with a ring ceremony—a celebration of every long practice, every late night, every setback they pushed through, and every moment they chose heart over comfort.
This team showed us what grit, sisterhood, and Cougar Pride truly look like. Now it’s our turn to show THEM what their community feels for them.
Let’s fill the stands, lift them up, and celebrate the incredible journey that brought them to this unforgettable accomplishment.
Cougar Nation, this is your moment too. 🖤🤍🏀. We look forward to seeing you there!
