The Izard County Lady Cougars defeated the Riverside Lady Rebels, 60-57, to win the NEA Tournament! The sixth seeded Lady Cougars (11-5) defeated the top seeded Lady Rebels, who are the No. 3 ranked team in Class 2A. The Lady Cougars defeated the second seeded Marked Tree Lady Indians in the semifinals. The Lady Indians are the No. 3 ranked team in 1A. The Lady Cougars were led by Quinn Johnson with 20 points. Olivia Spray added 13, Makensie Yancey 12, and Tinley Bailey 9.

The sixth seeded Lady Cougars (10-5) advance to the finals tomorrow at 4:45 PM. The Lady Cougars were led by Olivia Spray with 21 points.
