Thanks to all who donated to the Kailey Moss Memorial Scholarship Chili Supper last Friday during the Black and Gray Basketball Games! Over $3,000 was raised during the chili supper. Since the scholarship fund was created in 2009 to honor our former student, Kailey Moss, we have raised $50,000 and given out thirty-six $1,000 scholarships to ICC students!

Ticket Information: Prices for tickets are $8 general admission. Admission will be charged for ages 5 and up. Printed tickets and screenshots will not be accepted. Fans will receive their tickets via email. They can also download the GoFan mobile app (Apple users only) and login to access their tickets. This event is a mobile entry event-tickets must be presented on a smart phone for entry.
Only the current year AAA passes and lifetime AAA passes will be accepted. No conference/district passes will be accepted. Screenshots of AAA passes will not be accepted.

Reminder to Beta members - Beta Induction Ceremony will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 7.
Izard County students Evan Cole, Brayden Treat, Keylon Gross, Alex Millington, and Gavin Williams were among 70 students who attended the AGQBA Jr. High Quiz Bowl camp at UACCB. Cole earned All-Tournament Team honors. Treat, Gross, and Millington's teams each finished the day with 2-1 records. Great start to the Jr High quiz bowl season!
It is time to wrap up our Trash or Treasure recycling project. Please send all candy wrappers to the boxes in your buildings at some point today. Below is more information and a video on what is done with the candy wrappers during the recycling process. Thank you all for participating!
During processing, candy wrappers start their Second Life® as part of the circular economy. The wrappers are sorted by material, cleaned, and ground into small pieces. The plastic pieces then go down a long conveyor belt and into a machine that heats the shredded material, turning it into very small balls called plastic pellets. These pellets are used to make new plastic items!

After School Program 2nd grade Cougar Buddies have been practicing their long vowel teams as well as single digit addition skills by playing fun games with their Big Cougar Buddies!
After School Program students created Hallway Heroes as part of their collaborative game-making with Mrs. Rucker! Also, check out the Cougar Buddies as our 5-8 superstars met their new buddies for our mentoring program - they played get-to-know-you games and followed it up with a shared interests Venn diagram!
Mighty Mite season ended tonight. 3/4 grade Cougars rallied late to win, 12-8, on the road over Cave City! 5/6 Cougars fought hard but lost to the Cavemen. Great job, little Cougars!

These wrappers can be given to your teacher or placed directing in the collection container which is located outside the STEM center door. The Izard County Cougars defeated the Augusta Red Devils, 64-16, last night at Cougar Stadium! The Cougars clinched a playoff spot with the win and they improved to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the North Conference. The Junior Cougars improved to 8-0 on the season and 3-0 in the conference with last night's forfeit win. The Cougars and Junior Cougars wrap up the regular season next Friday night with a home game against Brinkley.

This week is National School Bus Safety Week. Thank you to all of our amazing bus drivers - they work very hard to keep our students safe!
The theme for next week's home football game vs Brinkley will be Pink Out. We will also recognize 12th grade football players and cheerleaders with a senior night ceremony.
ICC returning bowling team members earned the use of a brand new, custom ball and bag this year! Some of our multi-sports team members were at a different practice today, but we were too excited to wait any longer to distribute these. Looking forward to a great season!
