Izard County School District is proud to announce that our high school is a 2023-2024 National Beta School of Merit. This award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to
academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club. This year, 49% of Beta Clubs across the country received this award.
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”
Thank you to Mrs. Treat, ICC Beta Advisor, for her dedication to our students and their academic achievements!

At our recent cheer camp with Universal Cheerleading Association, 8 ICC cheerleaders were selected for the All-American team.
Junior High: Addysyn Kinion, Addy Lemon, Destiny Wisecarver and Naomi Wisecarver
Varsity: Dovie Johnstone, Makaelynn Wood, Kirsten Williams and Dayka Lock
All-American cheerleaders possess exceptional cheerleading skills, such as stunts, jumps, and tumbling. They showcase technical proficiency and a high level of competence. All-American cheerleaders are often noted for their leadership qualities, both on and off the mat. These cheerleaders went through a tryout process to be selected.
They have been given the opportunity to travel to Disney World to show their skills and be rewarded for their accomplishment by performing in the Disney Thanksgiving Day Parade. We are so proud of these cheerleaders and their dedication to our team!

This information will be sent home the 1st week of school, but we want to give parents of graduating seniors a heads up!
